Do you have a range of standard home plans we can view?
Yes, we have a number of plans that we can build or you can use to get ideas for your own personal design. These include designs for Modern and Contemporary homes, Colonial and Federation, Queenslanders and Small or Narrow Lot homes.

What will it cost me to design my home?
There is no additional cost of design when you build with DJ Builders.

Can I use my own plan?
You are welcome to use your own plan. If it is a concept plan our designers will turn it into a working plan.

Can I choose different inclusions to the standard range?
Certainly. We do have an inclusions brochure with a wide range of finishes but you are welcome to choose your own.

Will we have access to the site during construction?
Yes. Contact your Site Supervisor and he will take you through the site. Health and Safety regulations prevent unsupervised visits on site.

How long will it take to build my house?
This depends on the size and design. On average it takes about 6 months. We will discuss this with you and agree on a time period. It takes longer to build a high quality individually designed home than a mass produced project home built to minimum standards.

Do you build on sloping sites?
Building split level homes that make the most of slopes with the minimum of earth works is our speciality.

Do you build on narrow inner city sites?
Certainly. And we have the expertise to help you with the complex building regulations involved when building on a small lot.
