If you've invested in building a commercial property before, you've probably experienced 3 let-downs you might even have thought were just a natural part of building commercial properties...
- Some builders allow 'exclusions' to get past the planning stage, where what should have been included in a well thought-out plan becomes additional exclusions and - by contract - are not included in the original quote. They ended up delivering a lower quote, they got the contract and you ended up paying more than you thought you were going to.
- Some builders fail to notify you of events, information and circumstances that push out project milestones. This left you unable to respond, change plans and adapt any related issues you were managing.
- Some builders don't provide some of the project-management issues you might take for granted are included, but fail to notify you of this up front. This caused blow-outs in time and costs because you were unprepared, even thought they were contractually well within their rights.
We're completely different
- We get the plans inclusive, right from the very start. We might seem a fraction more expensive than others, but that's because keeping to budget is critical to you and we know that.
- Our communication with you is complete. Even if you have built several commercial developments, we will not assume you know all aspects of securing a development on time and on budget.
- We cover most aspects of the project management, ourselves, and we painstakingly follow the Master Builders project documentation. For instance, there are between 50 and 80 steps in the project, depending on the nature of your project... such as site surveying, sustainability provisions, town planning approval, erosion control and more. Each one is checked, and if we're not managing it we won't just assume you are.
Compliance is also a headache for some developments if it's not managed and planned. It contributes to many projects going well beyond initial project milestones.
We comply with all councils and other regulatory bodies, like the EPA. We can help expedite the paperwork, secure compliance and get the boxes ticked that ensure your project meets with right milestone dates.

As well as securing your project's financial needs, our design skills are strong. We build projects that are beautiful, functional and environmentally contemporary.
We consider five key aspects before beginning the design:
- People friendly - will tenants and customers enjoy working in or patronising the businesses in the building?
- Energy efficient - how can we design and build to maximise the latest technology to ensure the building is as energy efficient as possible?
- Tailored to the Queensland climate - will it be cool in summer, light and cheerful and at the same time make the most of aspect and prevailing breezes?
- The future - will the building meet the changing needs of technology in the future?
- Landscaping - how can we maximise the use of native plants and permaculture to enhance the building and save water?
